CEIS Ayrshire’s Skills and Training Team have years of experience developing programmes designed to build the skills needed for a suitable job. Our team have been at the forefront of developing courses and qualifications to meet local needs including employability skills, industry specific qualifications, and more.
Our training centre in Irvine, North Ayrshire, is accredited to deliver the CITB test for individuals who need to obtain or renew their CSCS Card. We are also approved by the Health and Safety Executive to provide both the 1-day and 3-day First Aid training courses. In addition, we offer the Scottish Personal Licence training course.
Courses
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
We are accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) to deliver tests and training for CSCS cards. We offer a full day course that includes training, the SCQF Level 4 award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, and the CITB Health and Safety Environment test, leading candidates to the CSCS Labourer Card. We also have flexible options for those who are already qualified, to sit their test and get the relevant CSCS card.

First Aid Training Irvine
As a training centre accredited by The Royal Environmental Health Institute Of Scotland (REHIS), we have the capability to provide both the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work and the 3-day First Aid at Work courses. These courses can be customised to suit your business needs. Upon finishing the course, participants will be certified to administer first aid in the workplace.

Personal Licence
A personal licence in Scotland is essential for individuals responsible for overseeing the sale of alcohol in licenced establishments. CEIS Ayrshire can deliver the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders and the refresher at SCQF level 6.
