Recently Craig worked with Paul who was looking to get into the construction/labouring sector. Paul was self-employed before and was looking for employability support to help start his new career working with an employer.

Craig assisted Paul with creating a new CV and Covering letter through one-to-one sessions. Shortly after using the CV they created together, Paul mentioned that he had an interview set up with JD Pierce but was worried as he felt he needed help to work on his communication skills before his upcoming interview.

Craig then arranged a one-to-one appointment with Paul to cover interview skills, working on his communication and confidence.

Covering interview skills made a marked improvement in Paul’s communication skills and he feels this helped him for his interview.

Paul was offered a position with JD Pierce after his interview. He is happy with the service we provided and is looking forward to starting his career within construction.
